If you’ve been hankering for the Lotus Elise but just can’t afford it then wait for the low-cost and affordable Lotus Elise Purist Edition which according to Lotus PR Kevin Smith is on the way. The Purist Edition of the Lotus Elise is the car manufacturer’s way of bringing the Elise closer to the price when the car was first introduced to the US market. With the more affordable $43,995 which is around $3,000 less than the base Elise you now have a chance to get behind the wheels of the Lotus Elise.

While the Lotus Elise Purist Edition is eye-catching enough no matter what color it wears you are relegated to the available colors of Saffron Yellow –which looks like a Hotwheels gone big with the matching black accent—Monaco White and Ardent Red. The Lotus Elise Purist Edition has a 1.8-Liter six-speed manual transmission engine producing 190 horsepower. It comes complete with 16 x 5.5 front wheels and 17 x 7.5 rear wheels all in silver, AP-developed calipers with cross drilled and ventilated discs, Eibach springs and Bilstein dampers.

Inside the Lotus Elise Purist Edition are classy features including a four-speaker stereo with in-dash CD player, black leather seats, Momo steering wheel, tire-pressure monitoring system, power door locks and an alarm with engine immobilizer.

2010 Pontiac G8 Sport Car

The 2010 Pontiac G8 Sport Truck looks like your regular sedan looking at it from a front angle but when you look at the sides and the back then you will realize that this car looks different than the other Pontiacs in town. The Pontiac may not live on but Holden is not taking its estimated $1 billion losses sitting down as it is ready to market the rear-wheel drive Commodore platform to GMC and Cadillac.

General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson said they are also toying with the idea that the Pontiac G8 could be used by United States law enforcers. The G8 can also be presented as a fuel-efficient alternative to the big and fuel guzzling pick-ups by GMC.

The 2010 Pontiac G8 Sport Truck is expected to have a V8 engine producing 361 horsepower with reinforced frame and structure to fit the pickup body. Expect the 2010 Pontiac G8 Sport Truck to have a price tag of $29,995.
